She has received numerous awards for her teaching, including Washington Township Teacher of the Year, Semi-Finalist for Indiana Teacher of the Year, Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching, Shining Star Award, and two Lilly Creativity Fellowships.Ĭlick currently teaches at North Central High School, where she directs five choirs, including the King’s Court Singers (North Central’s madrigal choir), and also directs the Handbell Ringing Club. She recently was named a Grammy Award semi-finalist as the top 25 of 5,000 nationally nominated music teachers.
